Memorial & Tribute Giving
Memorial and Tribute Giving is a way to recognize, honor, and celebrate people and events that are important to you by giving back to the school community.
You can pay tribute in a number of ways:
Gifts in Memory
In memoriam gifts are a thoughtful way to express your sympathy and to create lasting testimonies to the special people in your life.
Gifts in Honor
Show those closest to you the important role they play in your life by making a gift in their honor to support student-centered Catholic education.
Gifts in Celebration
Celebrate life’s milestones – birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, retirements, Mother’s Day, or any special occasion - by making a tribute donation (even in lieu of presents).
Gifts “In lieu of”
You can inscribe in an obituary or funeral cards: “In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint Joseph Preparatory High School. Visit saintjosephprep.org/give to make an online donation or mail your gift to: Saint Joseph Prep, Advancement Office, 617 Cambridge Street, Boston, MA 02134.”
The Advancement Office will send acknowledgements for all donations received in your loved one’s memory or in honor of your event.
Tribute gifts may be made at anytime during the year. When making a tribute gift, provide the name of the person being honored or memorialized and the type of occasion, such as a birthday or anniversary.
Please provide the names and addresses of those you want the Advancement Office to notify of your gift. We will share with the honoree or their family a list of all tribute gift donors, but not the amount of the gift.
Please contact the Advancement Office with questions.
