SJP Charts a Course
This year, Mr. Nunan invited families to engage with the School and learn more about SJP’s future through the “Dine and Discourse” series. These dinners, hosted in Phoenix Hall, were a chance to connect with fellow parents, reflect on their reasons for choosing Saint Joseph Prep, and to more fully understand the School’s strategic direction.
Welcoming more than 100 guests in total, families reviewed the history of Saint Joseph Prep, the School’s mission and vision that guide its educational approach, where SJP is now...and where it’s going next.
Standing tall on the shoulders of its founding schools, Mount St. Joseph Academy and Trinity Catholic (and its legacy schools), SJP is thriving in an evolving market. With the Sisters of St. Joseph providing sponsorship and extraordinary leadership, SJP remains an independent Catholic high school, and one of only a handful of co-ed options in the Greater Boston area.
Last fall, the School identified Academic Excellence, Authentic Community, Meaningful Engagement, and Dynamic Innovation as the key pillars that define the SJP experience. As SJP continues to grow, these core themes will drive the student experience forward. By providing young people with an unparalleled academic foundation, affirming and celebrating all individuals, offering extensive opportunities to participate in extracurriculars, and leaning into the technology and creative thinking that enhance student learning, our scholars are both happy and successful.
"The Dine and Discourse series was initiated as a way to provide our parent/guardian community with an insider's look at the extraordinary experience offered by Saint Joseph Prep,” shared Robin King, SJP’s Director of Advancement. “Parents are urged to help ‘close the gap’ between tuition charged and the actual cost of an SJP education. Everyone can give something and 100% parent/guardian participation is the goal.”
Thank you to everyone who invests in Saint Joseph Prep. Our students, who benefit from the School’s commitment to educating the whole person, are prepared to achieve great success in college and career, and are empowered to make a positive difference in their communities.
