During this season of giving, the SJP community rallied to support local families and organizations.
National Honor Society Giving Tree
Members of SJP's National Honor Society collected gifts to distribute to children through the Salvation Army. Thanks to this gift drive, 143 children will receive Christmas presents. Each gift was purchased based on a child's custom wishlist, containing items ranging from clothing to craft kits and toys to a brand new bicycle. Thank you to Ms. Julia Gustin and members of the National Honor Society for bringing joy to 143 children and their families!
Brighton High Project
Our Campus Ministry group provided gifts to local high school students experiencing homelessness. In total, 19 gift bags were completed, each including a $25 gift card and some stocking stuffer gifts. Gift cards were purchased through a dress-down day fundraiser, and the stocking stuffers were donated by members of the SJP community. Thank you to Ms. Hughes and the Campus Ministry group for their efforts to make a difference in the lives of youth experiencing homelessness.
CSJ Motherhouse Decorating
SJP students visited our neighbors, the Sisters of St. Joseph, to spread some Christmas cheer. Students helped the Sisters decorate the Motherhouse with joyful Christmas decorations including a beautiful Nativity set, glowing Christmas trees, and more.
Thank you to all involved in planning and all of those who donated. Merry Christmas!
