Camden Service Trip Recap

Leading up to Catholic Schools Week, SJP students embarked on a service trip to the Romero Center in Camden, New Jersey. The retreat incorporated ministries of both service and presence. Students prepared and served food to homebound individuals at MANNA, played bingo with disabled persons at Inglis House, sorted donations at Urban Promise Thrift Store, and more. Students then reflected on their experiences through a lens of Catholic Social Teaching. Thank you to Romero Center Ministries for the gracious hospitality and for providing our students with a truly formative experience!
