Saint Joseph Prep is a member of the highly competitive Catholic Central League (CCL), as well as a member of the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA), which sets starting dates and other limitations for athletic seasons. The fall season starting date is the third Thursday in August. The winter season begins the Monday following Thanksgiving. The spring season begins the third Monday in March. SJP teams begin tryouts and practice on or shortly after these dates.
