Grade 9 Summer Enrichment

ENGLISH

Those students taking English 1: Survey of Literature (College Prep or Honors) will be asked to read TWO works:

Please click on the link for the course to access the written assignments to complete over the summer. An in-class assessment may also follow in the first few weeks of school.

MATH

Those students taking Algebra I (College Prep or Honors) or Geometry (College Prep or Honors) can download the related summer assignment and assessment by clicking the course titles in this paragraph. 

The assignment for each College Prep and Honors course will be due on the First Friday of Class.

SPANISH

Those students taking Spanish I (College Prep or Honors) can download the related summer assignment and assessment by clicking the course title in this paragraph.

Those students taking Spanish II Honors can download the related summer assignment and assessment by clicking the course title in this paragraph.

Please note that portions of the assignment will be due throughout the summer, so please pay close attention to the due dates.

LATIN II

Students taking Latin II will complete a summer review packet linked to the course name in this sentence.

The assignment is due on the first day of classes.

ESL II

Students taking ESL II will write a bi-weekly (every 2 weeks) blog post (diary form) in English on Google Classroom discussing their summer days.
