Saint Joseph Prep seeks to educate the whole person. Our scholars engage in a challenging academic program that prepares students for success at some of the finest four-year colleges and universities. Through small class sizes and a focus on individualized attention, students are supported in their intellectual, emotional, and spiritual development.
All 9th grade students receive English instruction in literature and are also enrolled in additional college prep writing workshop periods. Sophomores, in addition to Chemistry, will also take STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math—a hands-on, project-based course centered on collaboration and problem-solving). In the junior year, an ACT/SAT prep course is built into the schedule to maximize success on these standardized assessments. AP classes are offered in every academic discipline.
Students will spend their four years at Saint Joseph Prep in a small Advisory, working with a faculty or staff member throughout to ensure their individual success. Students, families, advisors, teachers, and administrators work in partnership to support the student in reaching his or her fullest potential.
